Chad Cutler is a Canadian compositor, animator, and illustrator, living in Toronto, Ontario. Most recently, he was employed at Mr.X in downtown Toronto, from January of 2019 to October of 2020, where he worked as a visual effects compositor. Prior to that, he was employed at Legend 3D, also in Toronto, from 2014-2018, working as a stereoscopic compositor and leading a team of up to fourteen artists. He was educated in Toronto at the Ontario College of Art and Design from 2005 to 2009 and Humber College from 2009-2012. |
Although animation is still a key area of interest, education at Humber and employment at Legend has also exposed him to many areas of the 3D industry. In addition to animation, he pursues visual effects, compositing, and lighting, and his traditional art background gives a unique perspective on the interplay between 2D and 3D art and design. Always attempting to learn and grow, Chad Cutler is consistently working to build on his portfolio and skills, exposing his work wherever and whenever possible. |
